This Spring Take a Break from Modern-Day at Jamestown Settlement and American Revolution Museum at Yorktown

WILLIAMSBURG, Va., March 26, 2021 – Set sail on a voyage of discovery and seize the revolutionary spirit this spring at Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, two history museums that present early American history through innovative galleries and films and immersive living history.

At Jamestown Settlement, discover the world of America’s first permanent English colony and the American Indian, European and West Central African cultures that converged in early Virginia, planning the seeds for a new nation. At the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, take a journey of historic proportions to explore the founding of our nation, capturing the transformational nature of the Revolutionary War and its relevance today.

Spring into History

Now through March 28, families can purchase a special “Spring into History” ticket to explore both museums with a blend of in-person educational programs, virtual learning activities and access to a guided tour with a museum educator. Tickets are $13 per family member and offer unlimited admission to both museums. Children under age 4 are free.

Online Combination Ticket

Experience seven days of unlimited admission to both museums with an online value-priced combination ticket for $28.90 for adults and $14.45 for ages 6-12. Children age 5 and under are free.

American Heritage Annual Pass: Enjoy year-round admission to both museums – open 363 days a year – with access to daytime exhibits and special events. Annual passes cost $44 for adults and $22 for ages 6-12. Children age 5 and under are free.

Virginia Residents American Heritage Annual Pass: A special offer for Virginia residents allows them to purchase the annual pass online for the cost of a single-day combination ticket to both museums – and enjoy daytime exhibits and events: $28.90 for adults and $14.45 for ages 6-12. Children age 5 and under are free.

Tickets with Williamsburg Area Attractions

America’s Historic Triangle Ticket: Explore five historical attractions with one ticket offering unlimited admission for seven days to Jamestown Settlement, American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburg, Historic Jamestowne and Yorktown Battlefield, for $106.40 for adults and $46.95 for ages 6-15. Children 5 and under are free.

Jamestown & Yorktown Four-Site Value Ticket: One ticket offers unlimited admission for seven days to four historical sites – Jamestown Settlement, American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, Historic Jamestowne and Yorktown Battlefield is $55.90 for adults, $32.90 for ages 13-15 and $18.45 for ages 6-12. Children age 5 and under are free.

About the Museums
Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, are separated by a 25-minute drive along the Colonial Parkway, a National Scenic Byway, and are conveniently located near Williamsburg area attractions. Outdoor interpretive areas are accessible from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jamestown Settlement is located on Route 31 just southwest of Williamsburg. The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown is located on Route 1020 in Yorktown. Operations at both museums have been adapted for everyone’s health and safety with protective protocols and social-distancing procedures to create a safe environment to enjoy.

Gift shops at both museums are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jamestown Settlement Café is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and beginning March 28, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown Café opens March 28 at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Special exhibitions, events, educational programs and digital resources extend the exploration of early American history, while opportunities for group tours and private events enhance engagement with our nation’s past.

Jamestown Settlement admission is $18.00 for adults and $9.00 for ages 6-12 and, to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, $16.00 for adults and $8.00 for ages 6-12. Children under 6 are admitted free. Residents of James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, including William & Mary students, receive free admission with proof of residency.
