WILLIAMSBURG, Va., June 10, 2014 — “Party on the Pier” will be held at Jamestown Settlement on Friday, June 20, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit educational programs of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation and its museums, Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center.
All-inclusive tickets are now on sale and include dinner and live entertainment on the ships’ pier. Against the backdrop of Jamestown Settlement’s re-created 1607 ships, guests can savor the music of Slapnation and views of a James River sunset while partaking in a full barbecue dinner by Beach Bully BBQ of Virginia Beach. The Susan Constant will be open for guests to board, and costumed historical interpreters will be on hand.
Advance tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 3-12 through June 19. Tickets sold at the door on the day of the event are $30 for adults and $10 for children. Tickets are limited and are on sale. Chairs and blankets are welcome; coolers are not permitted.
