NEARBY RESIDENTS INVITED TO VISIT JAMESTOWN SETTLEMENT, YORKTOWN VICTORY CENTER ALL YEAR FOR COST OF ONE DAY

WILLIAMSBURG, Va., November 4, 2011 – The “Buy One Day, Get an Entire Year” American Heritage Annual Pass makes an ideal holiday gift for family and friends who live in the Hampton Roads and Richmond regions. Pass holders can visit Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center, state-operated living-history museums that tell the story of the nation’s beginnings, an unlimited number of times during a 12-month period for the cost of a single-day ticket.

The pass is available online to those living in areas with zip code numbers starting with 230 through 238 at the same price as one-time admission to both museums – $20 per adult and $10 for ages 6 through 12, a savings of more than 40 percent.  The annual pass retails at $35 for adults and $17.50 for ages 6 through 12.

The online-only offer is at
https://www.historyisfun.org/american-heritage-annual-pass.htm.  Proof of residency will be required at the initial museum visit.

Annual passes and general admission tickets for Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center include admission to special events and exhibitions and free parking.  Residents of the City of Williamsburg, including the College of William and Mary, and James City and York counties receive complimentary admission with proof of residency.
