The 1607 Society
Members of The 1607 Society support the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation’s educational mission with leaderships gifts to the Annual Fund. By helping to build a strong Annual Fund, The 1607 Society makes an important and sustained impact on a wide variety of museum and education programs. Here are just a few of the programs supported by The 1607 Society and the Annual Fund:
- Acquisition of period artifacts for our museums’ galleries
- Interpretive programs in both museums’ outdoor living-history areas
- Field trips that bring students to both museums for hands-on history lessons
- Outreach education that brings our museums into classrooms across Virginia
- Special exhibitions that engage new audiences in American history
- The maritime education program through which Jamestown Settlement’s ships sail to outside ports
- Virtual programs for children, adults and educators that attract new audiences throughout the country
As a member of this premier giving club, you will enjoy membership privileges that reflect your level of support and interest.
