The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown Campaign for Support was launched May 12, 2015, with the announcement that $10.4 million of a $15 million goal had been achieved for private gifts and grants to support gallery exhibits, outdoor exhibits and educational resources, as well as the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Inc., Annual Fund. Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe was guest speaker at the campaign kickoff event and, with First Lady Dorothy McAuliffe and event guests, participated on a preview tour of the new museum’s permanent galleries, currently under construction. Mari Ann and Charles Banks (seated), shown in top left photo with Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Inc., President Clifford Fleet and Immediate Past President Sue Gerdelman, are co-chairs of the Campaign.
