Local Residents Receive Free Admission
at Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center
Residents of James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, including the College of William and Mary, receive free admission every day at Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center with proof of residency.
Local residents are free to explore the stories of people in 17th-century Jamestown and the American Revolution and examine artifacts in the museum galleries that weave together the story of America. They can climb aboard replica ships and wander through re-creations of a Powhatan Indian village and colonial fort, learn about daily life on a 1780s farm and the struggles of Continental Army soldiers to secure our nation’s freedom.
Feel free to bring your friends and family again and again. The museums are open year-round, except Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
In addition to enjoying museum programs and events, you can support the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation in telling the story of America's beginnings. Learn how you can be involved.
Join us at down at the ships' pier at Jamestown Settlement on Saturday, June 23, 6:30-9:30 p.m. for Party on Pier! This exciting event will feature a full barbeque dinner from Bill's World Famous Barbeque of Wilson, N.C., with entertainment by Slapwater. Tickets are available by calling (757) 253-4722.
