Patrick and Françoise Duffeler of the Williamsburg Winery recently hosted a reserve wine tasting and tapas reception for members of The 1607 Society, the premiere membership program that provides support for Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center. At the event, the Duffelers unveiled a new wine called Virginia Merlot 2007 with the Virginia Company seal on the label. A portion of the sales of this wine will benefit the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Inc., Annual Fund. The new merlot will be available in late October.
