Planning Your Visit - Check List
• Double-check programs date/time in confirmation letter.
• Notify Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation if information is incorrect.
• Confirm count changes with Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation 30 days prior to arrival.
• If it becomes necessary to cancel your reservation, please do so and obtain a cancellation number.
• Make/confirm arrangements for meals during the visit.
• Confirm transportation.
• Review Information with all participating teachers.
• Share materials in your confirmation packet with all participating teachers.
• Arrange parent/ chaperones.
• Collect permission slips.
• Discuss museum manners with students.
• Inform students that backpacks must remain on the bus during the visit.
• Check weather reports prior to the day of the trip.
